Descendents

Back in the days these coffee addicted nerds declared war against mediocrity. They started to bomb the world with their fusion of catchy melody and raw, spastic energy resulting in hordes of tempted adolescents chanting to ‘I’m not a loser’, ‘I’m the one’ and ‘Coffee mug’. Now, almost 40 years later, the Descendents might have accidentally grown up, but they didn’t lose any of their spark. Enjoy!

The Bouncing Souls

We are very honored to welcome our favorite New Jersey punk rock outfit at Brakrock 21 next summer. These legends from the Garden State have been a band longer than some of their fans have been alive. You can count the number of bands who’ve stayed together for 31 years on two hands, and you can use just one to count those who’ve consistently released quality material for three decades. They’re keeping with their D.I.Y. roots and done it without major labels, corporate radio, MTV, or teen magazine pinups.

It’s all for the sake of music, the fans, and their own inspiration for thirty thirsty years. Essential part of their show and member of the band are the fans! The chemistry at a The Bouncing Souls show is undeniable and unstoppable. They’re plowing a path through life together in good times and in bad. “Bouncing Souls fans are passionate and full of life & the greatest friends ever”. Their simple straight – ahead love of the live set creates pogo-able” fast-paced and lighthearted punk rock (m)anthems right on the spot to get you moving and sing along!.

Comeback Kid

A blue-collar punk band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Comeback Kid combine declamatory vocals with a hyper-speed rhythm section and two riff-happy guitarists.

Since dropping their debut full-length, 2003’s Turn It Around, Comeback Kid has been an undeniable staple of the hardcore community. Each subsequent release has built upon the foundation of its predecessor while continually experimenting with and incorporating new musical elements from beyond the confines of modern hardcore.

H20

Hailing from New York, this worldtouring powerhouse will definitely tear the place down with their big catalogue of ultracatchy earworms . Balancing between the hardcore and punk rock scene, H2O always have been the ‘odd’ band out that (almost) every hardcore kid and punk rock kid seemed to love. Ever since 1994, when Sick Of It All roadie Toby Morse started out this band, they defined ‘melodic hardcore’ by blending enchanting punk rock nostalgia into the heavy New York sound.

Zebrahead

Get ready to be blown away by a truly innovative and ingenious meld of punk, hip – hop and alternative rock. We’re excited to have Orange County – based punk rock act Zebrahead for the very first time ever on stage .

Zebrahead first broke ground, erupting into the Southern California rock scene in the mid – ‘90s. After a dozen years, half a dozen albums, scores of countries, countless miles, a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance, they are ready to bring the party in the pit!

The Real Mckenzies

HaHoi! The Real McKenzies‘ ship will finally moor at the jetty on the river Nete in Duffel to bring the celebration to Brakrock 2022 next summer! It can be said, without any exaggeration, that The Real McKenzies are a national treasure. It would be a serious mistake to write them off as just another Celtic punk band. They are an unstoppable juggernaut of touring mayhem. A ferocious troupe of insanely talented minstrels, storytellers and entertainers melding traditional acoustic and electric to create a sound like no other. So raise a glass, raise a fist, or better yet, raise a little hell for thirty, thirsty years of The Real McKenzies ,and another one still for many more happy years to come!
