They started to bomb the world with their fusion of catchy melody and raw, spastic energy resulting in hordes of tempted adolescents chanting to ‘I’m not a loser’, ‘I’m the one’ and ‘Coffee mug’. Now, almost 40 years later, the Descendents might have accidentally grown up, but they didn’t lose any of their spark. Enjoy! …

]]> 1902 Good Riddance https://www.brakrock.be/archives/schedule/2457-2 Fri, 08 Mar 2019 08:42:00 +0000 https://www.brakrock.be/?post_type=schedule&p=3084 How ready are you… for some good old nineties punk rock? Well, you better be, boys and girls, because Good Riddance is back in D-town for another shot of European summer madness. These Californian punk rockers started rocking out in the early nineties and have been questioning American society and politics in their fast melodic punk songs ever since. With this killer addition, you definitely don’t have to be afraid to come dancing!

]]> 3084 Less Than Jake https://www.brakrock.be/archives/schedule/less-than-jake Thu, 22 Nov 2018 19:47:34 +0000 https://www.brakrock.be/?post_type=schedule&p=1899 Beyond stoked to present you ska punk legends Less Than Jake. The soundtrack of our youth will hit Brakrock Ecofest 2019 with a blast and is ready to take us – and perhaps you too – back to the nineties with their upbeat feel good anthems. They held firm to its punk rock roots and have managed to live through many musical trends simply by just being Less Than Jake. After more than 25 years these Floridians are still high on life and ready to drop their ska punk at our Riverstage!

]]> 1899 Pulley https://www.brakrock.be/archives/schedule/2465 Mon, 14 Jan 2019 17:38:52 +0000 https://www.brakrock.be/?post_type=schedule&p=2465 🔥🔥🔥 Hooray!! This one is a real treat for all you nineties skate punkers out there … none other than the legends of the Southern Californian melodic punk rock staple Pulley will hit the RIVER STAGE! The band was initially formed in 1994 after Scott Radinsky departed from Ten Foot Pole and is going strong ever since with their straight-forward, hard-edged and overly melodic punk rock. We’re already counting the days to relive the golden Punk O Rama days this summer!

]]> 2465 Teenage Bottlerocket https://www.brakrock.be/archives/schedule/2461 Mon, 14 Jan 2019 17:35:04 +0000 https://www.brakrock.be/?post_type=schedule&p=2461 Get ready to FREAK OUT, because we’re gonna have Teenage Bottlerocket on stage at Brakrock 2019 on SAT 03/08!

Expect same old fun injected ingredients, served with an infectious youthful enthusiasm.

Go check out their latest album “Stay Rad” out on Fat Wreck Chords! It has a good mix of the silly and the sad, but the overriding sentiment is one that echoes its title. It’s a reminder that, despite all the things that can and often do go wrong, being alive is something that should be enjoyed and that there’s always some sort of hope for the future…
